Terrol Dew Johnson

TERROL DEW JOHNSON was a community leader, nationally recognized advocate for Native communities, and renowned artist. Johnson championed novel approaches to reestablishing cultural traditions, including the Pancho Farm; he was focused on teaching O’odham tribal members traditional farming techniques, food preparation, and wild harvesting. His award-winning artwork resides in the permanent collections of multiple national museums.
