CAREHAUS was founded by Marisa Morán Jahn, an artist of Ecuadorian and Chinese descent; Rafi Segal, architect and professor at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge; and Haitian American developer Ernst Valery. Presented at the White House, the United Nations, the New York Times, Venice Biennale, and more, their respective work has shaped the public imagination around care, housing, and design.
